Summary
This study looked at whether a drug called nicergoline can help people with swallowing problems caused by stroke, Parkinson's disease, or dementia. 92 adults took either a low or high dose for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if swallowing improved and to find the best dose with the fewest side effects.
