Doctors seek right dose for Kids' blood pressure medicine

NCT ID NCT07372560

Summary

This study aims to understand how a hospital-made liquid version of a blood pressure medicine (nicardipine) works in children with cancer who have high blood pressure. It will measure how the drug moves through and leaves the bodies of 30 children aged 1 to 15. The goal is to gather data to help doctors choose safer and more effective doses for children, as current dosing is often just guessed from adult information.
