NCT ID NCT05114057
Summary
This study aimed to test a new method for predicting which critically ill children and newborns are most likely to develop serious kidney injury. Researchers planned to use a urine test (NGAL) and a risk-scoring tool to identify at-risk patients earlier. The goal was to help doctors make better decisions about fluid treatment and when to start or stop kidney support therapy.
