Bubbling powder could bring back skin color
NCT ID NCT05536856
Summary
This study is testing a new topical powder form of the medication 5-Fluorouracil to treat vitiligo, a condition that causes loss of skin color. The powder is designed to fizz when mixed with water, which may help the medicine absorb better into the skin. Researchers will measure if the treatment helps restore pigment to white patches on the skin of 60 participants with stable vitiligo.
