High-Tech ultrasound aims to spot cancer in swollen lymph nodes
NCT ID NCT07155954
Summary
This study is testing a new, high-resolution ultrasound imaging technique to see if it can better tell the difference between cancerous and non-cancerous swollen lymph nodes. Researchers will scan the lymph nodes of about 779 adults who are already scheduled for a biopsy or surgery. The goal is to see if this new technology provides clearer pictures of tiny blood vessels, which could help doctors make more accurate diagnoses without more invasive procedures.
