New 30-Minute test aims to revolutionize tuberculosis diagnosis
NCT ID NCT05117788
Summary
This study is testing a new diagnostic kit called the Bioneer Q-RFIA PCR kit. The goal is to see how accurately and quickly it can detect tuberculosis (TB) bacteria and determine if they are resistant to several key antibiotics. The test is designed to provide results from a sputum sample in about 30 minutes, which could help doctors choose the right treatment faster for people with TB, especially drug-resistant forms.
