Summary
This study tested a new drug, GSK3036656, combined with other TB medications to see how quickly it could kill tuberculosis bacteria in the lungs over 14 days. It involved 127 adults newly diagnosed with drug-sensitive TB. After the 14-day test period, all participants switched back to standard TB treatment for the remainder of their care.
