New device aims to make uterus removal surgery safer and faster
NCT ID NCT07226375
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical tool designed to remove tissue more safely and quickly during laparoscopic hysterectomy (a minimally invasive surgery to remove the uterus). Researchers will compare this new device to the standard method of using a scalpel. The main goal is to see if the new tool reduces surgery time and lowers the risk of tissue spreading inside the body, which is a concern with some current devices.
