New stent aims to keep leg arteries open, prevent amputations
NCT ID NCT06410313
Summary
This study is testing a new drug-coated stent (ChampioNIR™) designed to prop open blocked arteries in the thigh and knee area. It aims to improve blood flow to the legs, reduce pain when walking, and prevent future procedures or amputations. The study will enroll 30 adults with significant leg artery narrowing and follow them for three years to check if the stent stays open and is safe.
