Radioactive 'Tumor Seeker' drug tested in men with advanced prostate cancer

Summary
This first-in-human study is testing a new radioactive drug called 225Ac-pelgi in men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard hormone therapy. The drug is designed to seek out and deliver radiation directly to prostate cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. Researchers aim to find the safest and most effective dose and see if it can shrink tumors or lower PSA levels in patients who have run out of treatment options.
