Blood test could replace tissue biopsy for prostate cancer gene screening
NCT ID NCT06762379
Summary
This study aims to develop and test a new blood-based method for detecting specific gene mutations in men with metastatic prostate cancer. Researchers will enroll 125 patients whose tumor tissue samples are unavailable or inadequate for standard testing. The goal is to create a better testing algorithm that could help guide treatment decisions without requiring invasive tissue biopsies.
