New scans aim to sharpen the picture for kidney cancer

Summary

This study is testing three new types of PET scans to see if they can better detect and stage kidney cancer. Researchers will give these new imaging agents to people suspected of having kidney cancer and to healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if these scans provide clearer, more specific pictures of tumors to help guide treatment decisions.
