Radioactive tracer seeks out hidden cancer cells

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new radioactive tracer called [89Zr]DFO-YS5 for PET scans in patients with multiple myeloma. The tracer is designed to attach to a specific protein (CD46) found on myeloma cancer cells, potentially helping doctors see the cancer more clearly. Researchers will compare this new scan to standard PET scans in 20 participants to see if it's safe and if it can detect cancer better.
