New scan could spot deadly lung scarring earlier
NCT ID NCT03535545
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a new PET imaging agent called [68Ga]CBP8. The goal is to see if this special scan can detect and measure scar tissue (collagen) buildup in the lungs of people with conditions like pulmonary fibrosis or lung cancer. Researchers will enroll up to 100 participants, including healthy volunteers and patients, to see if the scan can help track disease progression.
