First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests a new, better-tasting formula of a common constipation medicine (polyethylene glycol) in children aged 6 months to 18 years with functional constipation. Over 8 weeks, researchers will compare the new formula to the standard one, looking at how often kids poop, stool consistency, and side effects. The goal is to find a treatment that works well and is easier for children to take.
