Summary
This study looked at 832 Chinese adults who had a heart attack and then developed a new irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) while in the hospital. Researchers wanted to see if the amount of time spent in this irregular rhythm affected the risk of death or other heart problems later on. The goal was to better understand how this condition impacts recovery.
