Trial tests new drug combo vs. stem cell transplant for blood cancer
NCT ID NCT06974786
Summary
This study is for adults newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma who have already had some initial treatment. It compares two different follow-up strategies to see which is better at eliminating any remaining traces of cancer. One path uses a new two-drug combination, while the other uses a stem cell transplant followed by standard drugs. Treatment is adjusted based on highly sensitive tests that check for leftover cancer cells.
