Scientists test special MRI to spot early lung trouble in kids
NCT ID NCT06066723
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan that uses a safe, inhaled gas to create pictures of how well air moves through children's lungs. Researchers want to see if this scan can detect early lung changes in kids with cystic fibrosis who otherwise have normal breathing test results. They will compare scans from 15 children with cystic fibrosis to scans from healthy children to see if the new method works and is acceptable for young participants.
