Summary
This study looked at whether a new, fast MRI method can help doctors decide earlier if an infant with brachial plexus birth palsy (a nerve injury from birth) needs surgery. 102 babies under 4 months old were enrolled. The MRI was done without anesthesia, and surgeons used the results along with other exams to make their decision. The goal is to provide clearer guidance on which infants truly need nerve surgery.
