New shot aims to protect against deadly meningitis strains
NCT ID NCT07204457
Summary
This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect against four types of meningococcal bacteria that can cause serious infections like meningitis. Researchers are comparing this new vaccine to an existing one in about 1,100 healthy adults to see if it triggers a strong immune response and is safe. The goal is to see if this new option works as well as or better than current vaccines.
