First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study is developing a new blood test to diagnose a bone marrow disorder called MDS. Currently, diagnosis requires a painful bone marrow biopsy, but this test aims to use a simple blood sample instead. The study will enroll 1500 adults with low blood counts to see if the blood test is as accurate as the standard biopsy.
