Major trial tests potential Game-Changer for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

Summary

This large Phase 3 study aims to see if a new drug called PF-08634404, when given with chemotherapy, works better and is as safe as the current standard treatment (pembrolizumab with chemotherapy) for adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread. About 1,410 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or the standard combination to compare how long patients live and how long the cancer stays controlled. The study is for adults who have not yet received treatment for their advanced cancer.
