One-Shot kidney injection aims to tame stubborn high blood pressure

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of a single injection of an experimental drug (SC101) into the fat surrounding the kidneys. It aims to lower blood pressure in people whose high blood pressure is not controlled by multiple medications and who also have moderate to severe chronic kidney disease. The study will enroll 3 participants to see if this new approach is safe and if it can help reduce blood pressure over six months.
