New hope for fatal lung disease: experimental pill enters human testing
NCT ID NCT05975983
Summary
This study is testing a new oral medication called INS018_055 for people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a serious and progressive lung disease. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and well-tolerated over 12 weeks of treatment. Researchers will also measure how the drug behaves in the body and look for early signs that it might help slow the decline in lung function.
