New 25-Strain baby vaccine enters safety testing

Summary
This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect infants against 25 strains of pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause serious infections like pneumonia and meningitis. It will compare the safety and immune response of three versions of this new vaccine against an existing vaccine (Prevnar 20) in 421 healthy babies. Infants receive three shots in their first few months of life alongside their standard childhood immunizations.
