Summary
This study looks at 2000 adults having painless colonoscopy to develop a new, fair way to measure how hard the procedure is. Currently, the time to reach the end of the colon (CIT) is used, but it varies by doctor skill and equipment. Researchers will test three statistical methods to standardize this time, aiming to create a more objective measure that links to patient symptoms like pain and bloating.
