First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new PET imaging probe called 68Ga-NB381 that targets a protein (CD38) found on multiple myeloma cancer cells. The goal is to see if this scan can detect the disease more accurately than current methods, potentially reducing the need for invasive bone marrow biopsies. About 30 adults suspected of having or diagnosed with multiple myeloma will participate.
