New scan could pinpoint deadly breast Cancer's weak spots
NCT ID NCT06962163
Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan to see if it can better detect and understand a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer called triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The scan uses a special tracer to look for a specific protein (CXCR4) that is often high in these cancer cells. The goal is to see if this scan can help identify patients who might benefit from future targeted treatments.
