Brain cancer trial tests implanted wafers plus immunotherapy

NCT ID NCT05083754

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a multi-part treatment for adults newly diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. The treatment combines chemotherapy wafers implanted during surgery, a new immunotherapy drug, standard radiation, and a common chemotherapy pill. The main goal is to see if this combination is safe and tolerable, while also measuring how long patients live without their cancer getting worse.
