First-in-Kids trial aims to tame devastating seizures with new spinal injection

Summary
This study is testing a new drug called S230815 for children aged 2-12 with a severe, hard-to-treat epilepsy caused by a change in the KCNT1 gene. The drug is injected into the spinal fluid to try to reduce seizures. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and how the body processes it, while also checking if it helps lower how often seizures happen.
