New hope for tough breast cancer: major trial tests promising drug

Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called BL-B01D1 works better than standard chemotherapy for people with advanced triple-negative breast cancer that has spread and stopped responding to a common type of chemo (taxanes). About 418 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a standard chemo chosen by their doctor. The main goals are to see if the new drug helps people live longer without their cancer getting worse and if it helps them live longer overall.
