New hope for breast cancer patients: drug combo before surgery shows promise

Summary
This study tests a new drug called SHR-A1811 against a standard combination of chemotherapy and targeted drugs for women with early-stage or locally advanced HER2-positive breast cancer. About 740 participants will receive either the new drug or the standard treatment before surgery. The goal is to see if the new drug leads to a higher rate of complete tumor disappearance after surgery.
