New hope for advanced stomach cancer: Triple-Drug combo tested in major trial

Summary

This study tests a new combination of three drugs (disitamab vedotin, trastuzumab, and tislelizumab) against standard chemotherapy for people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has high levels of a protein called HER2. The goal is to see if the new combo helps people live longer without their cancer getting worse. About 555 adults who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease will take part.
