New hope for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer: trial tests powerful drug combo

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new immunotherapy drug (fianlimab) to an existing treatment (cemiplimab plus standard chemotherapy) is safe and can better control advanced pleural mesothelioma, a cancer often linked to asbestos exposure. It will enroll 126 adults who have not yet received any treatment for their cancer. The main goal is to see how many patients have their disease controlled for at least six months.
