New hope for tough colorectal cancer: triple combo therapy enters trials

Summary

This study tests a new combination of drugs (S-531011, fruquintinib, and pembrolizumab) in people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer (MSS/pMMR) that hasn't responded to standard treatments. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and shrinks tumors. About 68 adults will take part in this early-phase trial across multiple centers.
