New Triple-Drug chemo challenge for Fast-Spreading cancer
NCT ID NCT04325425
Summary
This study is testing whether a three-drug chemotherapy combination called mFOLFIRINOX works better than the current standard treatment for an aggressive, fast-spreading type of neuroendocrine cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Researchers will enroll 218 adults who have not yet received treatment for their metastatic cancer. The trial also aims to analyze tumor genetics to help match future patients with the most effective chemotherapy for their specific cancer type.
