NCT ID NCT05848037
Summary
This study tested a new type of catheter designed to stay inside the body for up to 30 days, aiming to improve comfort and quality of life for men who need long-term catheters for urinary retention. It compared this new device to the standard Foley catheter, measuring patient-reported pain, quality of life, and infection rates over about 90 days. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 6 participants.
