New sensor aims to improve glucose control for type 1 diabetes
NCT ID NCT04081883
First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new biosensor that measures blood glucose every 10 minutes in people with type 1 diabetes who use an insulin pump. The sensor was compared to standard continuous glucose monitors during daily activities like meals and exercise. The goal was to see if the new sensor works better at preventing dangerous low blood sugar. Only one person took part, so the results are very early.
