New antibiotic combo takes on tough hospital pneumonia

Summary
This study tests a new antibiotic combination (meropenem and pralurbactam) against a standard treatment for serious pneumonia caught in the hospital or from a breathing machine. About 420 adults aged 18-80 will take part. The goal is to see if the new drug works as well and is safe.
