New hope for leukemia patients: Triple-Drug combo targets Tough-to-Treat AML

Summary
This study tests whether adding a new drug called pivekimab sunirine to two standard medicines (venetoclax and azacitidine) helps adults with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are not healthy enough for intensive chemotherapy. About 660 participants worldwide will receive either the three-drug combo or standard treatment. The goal is to see if the new combination leads to more remissions and longer survival, while monitoring side effects.
