Summary
This study tested a combination of three drugs (low-dose cytarabine or azacitidine, plus venetoclax and quizartinib) in 113 adults aged 60 and older with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who could not receive standard chemotherapy. The goal was to quickly control the disease and then prevent relapse with ongoing maintenance treatment. The trial aimed to find the safest dose and measure how well the combination works.
