New hope for AML patients: triple drug combo tested in phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding the experimental drug cusatuzumab to two standard AML medications (venetoclax and azacitidine) helps people with newly diagnosed AML live longer. The trial includes 140 adults who cannot receive intensive chemotherapy. Researchers will compare survival and remission rates between the two treatment groups.
