Your phone could soon scan your plate to count calories
NCT ID NCT07371559
Summary
This study is testing a new smartphone app that uses 3D scanning and photos to estimate calories in food. Researchers will recruit 200 volunteers with normal or slightly low body weight to eat from a buffet while their food is scanned before and after eating. The goal is to see if this new scanning method is more accurate than current ways of tracking food intake for dietary research.
