New nerve-saving surgery could help men avoid erectile dysfunction after prostate cancer treatment

Summary

This study tests a new surgical technique called NeuroSAFE during robotic prostate removal for prostate cancer. The goal is to see if it helps men keep erectile function and urinary control better than standard surgery. About 407 men who are potent and continent before surgery will take part, and their outcomes will be measured at 3 and 12 months.
