NCT ID NCT04828928
First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study checked how often nerve damage (neuropathy) occurs in people with a rare heart condition called wild-type TTR cardiac amyloidosis. What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could reveal that nerve damage is a common complication in wild-type TTR cardiac amyloidosis, guiding future monitoring and care.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed observational study with only 65 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. It does not test any treatment.
As listed by the trial registrant
The condition terms exactly as the trial's registrant entered them.
