NCT ID NCT07243990

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special brain-monitoring device during surgery can lower the chance of children becoming agitated or confused after waking up from anesthesia. About 80 children aged 6 to 12 will take part. Half will have their brain activity monitored with the device, and the other half will receive standard care. The goal is to see if the device helps doctors keep anesthesia at the right depth, leading to a calmer recovery.
