First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of PET scan (18F-MFBG) against the current standard scan (123I-MIBG) in 30 children with relapsed or refractory neuroblastoma. The goal is to see if the new scan can detect tumors just as well or better, with less radiation or faster results. Participants will receive both scans within a short time, and no treatment changes are allowed between them.
