Summary
This study is testing whether small implanted electrodes can help people with leg amputations feel sensations from their missing limb. The electrodes deliver tiny electrical signals to the nerves, which the brain interprets as touch or pressure from the foot. Researchers hope this will help people walk more naturally and safely with their prosthetic legs.
