Electricity may speed nerve repair after finger injuries

Summary

This study tests whether giving a short burst of electrical stimulation during nerve repair surgery can help damaged nerves in the fingers heal faster. About 60 adults who need surgery for a cut or injured digital nerve will take part. Researchers will measure how well sensation returns and how quickly patients recover.
