NCT ID NCT07645521
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a numbing injection behind the nose (sphenopalatine ganglion block) could reduce confusion and agitation after sinus surgery. 100 adults received either the nerve block or a placebo. The goal was to see if the block helped patients wake up more calmly and with less pain.
